Sliding Scale

Embracing Behavioral Health offers a sliding scale fee discount program to ensure everyone can afford behavioral and mental health care. We offer an eligibility program based on a person’s ability to pay and do not discriminate based on age, gender, race, creed, disability, or national origin.

Embracing Behavioral Health’s sliding scale is created based on the Federal Poverty Guidelines, and is updated annually to determine eligibility.

Discounts are based on income and family size only, based on the Census Bureau definitions of each. Family is defined as a group of two people or more (one of whom is the householder) related by birth, marriage, or adoption and residing together; all such people (including related subfamily members) are considered as members of one family
